Community led lifestyle e-commerce startup, EkAnek, is ramping up its backend team

 


EkAnek was founded in 2018 by IIT Kharagpur graduate Chandranshu Sinha and IIM alumnus Karthik Sheth. The startup has built a beauty and grooming focused social e-commerce platform called Foxy combining entertainment, social engagement and advice.

It recently raised $5.5 million from Alpha Wave Incubation for building its presence in Abu Dhabi, which will eventually serve as the the base for expansion into the GCC and beyond. The Delhi-based network previously raised $10 million from Sequoia, Lightspeed India, Matrix Partners, Rajan Anandan and QED Innovation Labs among others in March.

The three-year-old startup is currently looking for backend and frontend engineers across levels with 3 to 8 years of experience in Python and React.js respectively. EnAek has a very strong preference for engineers who have worked in a product-based environment. The positions are open in both Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
